The Technical Manager is responsible for a wide range of duties pertaining to the technical, engineering, and managerial operations of the teaching and research labs of the Cognitive Science Department. The Technical Manager troubleshoots and provides support for technical problems for the department, and works with the Department Chair, Department Financial Manager and H&SS Director of Operations to develop and maintain a capital equipment plan for Cognitive Science that correlates with the School and Institute Plans.  The Technical Manager functions as part of the H&SS Tech Team and works closely with the H&SS Director of Operations.  Additionally, the Technical Manager may assume responsibility for school-based labs as assigned by the Director of Operations and will participate in School-wide projects as necessary.
