The Assistant to the Department Head works closely with the Department Head, the Financial Manager, and the staff of the Department to manage the Department.  The Assistant works with the Dean’s office and other Institute offices on confidential information.  In addition, the Assistant works on administrative tasks related to research.  The Assistant also manages the National and International conferences held by the Department.
