Abstract: When we are called upon to imagine something, we put a great deal of detail into the imagined scenes from our own memories. In this talk I will argue that much of what we imagine comes from our visual experiences. I present a model of imagination, Visuo, that can determine quantitative magnitudes (e.g., size, distance, angle) based on a database of tagged images.
