The weekly 'Issues in Cognitive Science' series provides an informal setting in which faculty, graduate students and invited speakers present their current research or plans for future research, and discuss recent journal articles of general interest to cognitive scientists. The 'catered brown bag' meetings take place every other Wednesday, 12-1:30pm, Sage 4101. Abstract
The human neural network is the origin of cognition and complex behaviors, so it is very important to study the human neural network. In this talk I will introduce methods for studying human neural network including various kinds of MRI and computational approaches developed for studying the properties of the neural network. Several of my studies concerning neural plasticity and psychopathology associated with changes in neural networks, will be introduced.
