Larry Reid, Professor in the department of Cognitive Science at Rensselaer, is the featured speaker at this week's Research Problems in Cognitive Science seminar, Wednesday, October 26 at 12 noon in Sage Labs 4101. Dr. Reid's topic is "Theory on Prevention and Treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease."
Dr. Reid will review, with hypotheses, how behavioral therapies or training aimed at olfaction, sleep, exercise and practicing specially designed computer-assisted game-like programs may be a feasible avenue toward reducing Alzheimer’s disease risk and morbidity.
The talk is free and open to the Rensselaer community.
